What can we say?
We are a School of Capoeira in London-UK, lead by Mestre Velho Jose, a Mestre Charangueiro of Capoeira Regional that gained a vast knowledge of the art since a young age. We have several classes during the week in East London, for all levels, including kids.
Our Amazing Team
We have a great team of people who support the school in various ways, but some of them already reached levels to effectively teach, either supporting our classes or running their own.
Mestre Velho Jose
Aldemar de Sousa
Founder of Olorum Capoeira. Started capoeira very young, with his father Mestre Deputado (Mestre Bimba student).
Contra-Mestra Boca Rica
Raquel Pereira
Is with us for over a decade. A great support to all the classes. Recently became a Contra-Mestra.
Contra-Mestre Seguidor
Dani Kearns
Started capoeira when was doing his degree, never stopped. He’s also being training with us for over a decade.
Professora Morena
Gilda Pereira
One of the first students of Mestre Velho Jose. Morena also have participated in encounters of capoeira in Brazil, including one championship where she won a bronze medal.
Professor Taboca
Vitor Pereira
Taboca does also support classes when we need. He was the second student of Mestre Velho Jose. Actually started his training nearly at the same time as his sister (Morena).

Caicara took her son to a kids class, tried the adults class and never left 🙂
